Many of our customers are technologically savvy. Even more of our customers have told us that they prefer to be able to find information about used cars in one place online before they even plan a visit to the dealership. Indeed, there are many advantages of being able to use the internet to begin a used car search; not only can you get a wide variety of information about used cars online, but you can compare prices, features, and opportunities from the comfort of your office chair.
In order to help our customers get as much information as possible about our used cars and used car services, we have developed a resource-rich interactive Website that we hope they find useful. Here are a few of the things we want you to know about the resources available online that may be just right for you:
We have an online inventory of all of our used cars. This inventory allows our customers to browse through the used cars that are currently on our lot so that they can see what we have before they schedule a trip to see us. You can see pictures of our used cars that we have as well as specifications about the used cars. Compare different models, makes, and entire styles of used cars to determine which ones are the best for you! Once you narrow your list down, we recommend that you schedule a test drive so that you can determine which used cars handle the best for your needs.
Many of our used car customers took advantage of a car loan to buy their used cars. With our used car loan program, our customers can not only get safe and reliable used cars, but they can more easily afford to buy those used cars no matter what their budgets are. When you have poor credit, no matter the reason, it can make shopping for a quality used car a challenge. Even though bad credit car loans may be available at dealers in your area, you may not know where to begin with finding one that best suits your financial situation. However, we are here to get you on the right track and to let you know why getting a copy of your credit report is the first step you should take.
You Can Get All the Facts
If you have poor credit, then you may hesitate to look at your credit report. However, ignoring it may get you into deeper trouble because it might result in you getting locked into a loan with very high interest because you assumed you had no other option. Getting a copy of your credit report will let you know exactly where you stand before you begin to compare bad credit car loans.
You Can Fix Errors
You cannot fix mistakes on your credit report if you don’t read it. Accounts you have paid off but are still showing as open, incorrect addresses or phone numbers and other errors may be lowering your credit score without you knowing it. Look over the report carefully and if there are errors, contact the reporting company to have them corrected.
You Can Be More Informed
Knowing your credit score and having updated information concerning your credit report may make you feel more confident when you search for loans. Even if some lenders do not require a credit check for poor credit loans, you will still be in control when it comes to knowing as much as possible about your credit. This may also be helpful as you look at different makes and models because knowing your credit score can help you remember what you can afford.
Obtaining a copy of your credit report is one of the most effective steps you can make before you start shopping for bad credit car loans. You can shop with more confidence and find the most affordable loan possible.
Car loans can be difficult to acquire even under the best of circumstances. For those suffering from past financial hardships, such as filing for bankruptcy, finding the right loan for your needs can prove even more challenging. Many lenders are hesitant to offer loans to those struggling, even in cases where bankruptcy proceedings were all but unavoidable. In this event, after bankruptcy car loans can be a great way to re-establish good financial standing while also obtaining a reliable vehicle to get you to and from work.
While these circumstances can make securing the right loan a bit more challenging, there are steps one can take to ensure they’re afforded the best deal for their money. When seeking a loan, the right lender can make all the difference. Many post-bankruptcy car loans include higher-than-average interest to mitigate the risk associated with poor financial histories. This can result in paying for more for your car than the actual price, which will only add to further financial turmoil. However, a suitable lender can afford you the funding you need to procure a vehicle without incurring ultra-high interest rates in the process. In order to find a loan with reasonable terms, a bit of research can go a long way.
The internet can be a great place to start thanks to the abundance of resources related to finding an appropriate car loan for your existing financial outlook. Rebuilding your credit history is an integral part of remedying prior financial missteps, as well as keeping you on the right track in the future.
Additionally, procuring a vehicle can be crucial for finding a lucrative and rewarding job to get you there. With the right loan, you can easily bounce back from a number of financial woes, thereby increasing your ability to plan the sort of future you deserve.
Some people are car aficionados and know everything there is to know about used cars. For the rest of society, there are a lot of questions that come with purchasing a pre-owned vehicle. If you’re looking to save some money by getting a car that’s already had an owner or two, here are three questions that should definitely be posed to the dealer.
How Is the Car Equipped?
When you’re going through all the bells and whistles that come with your new vehicle, it’s hard to keep track of everything. If you start by asking what amenities are included right off the bat, you can check things off your list and be sure that you don’t drive off the lot in a car that has no A/C and no power windows. A lot of these things are easy to spot, but some might not be apparent at first glance.
Has the Car Been in an Accident?
Even if the exterior is dent free and you don’t notice any problems when you go for a test drive, it’s a good policy to find out if a car has previously been in a wreck. That will help you to know which parts have been replaced and why the previous owner may have decided to part with the car.
Is There a History Report?
If someone outside your family is selling a car without a history report, you probably don’t want to buy it. Most used cars come with certification and full reports nowadays. However, if a seller is just offering his or her word that the car is in good shape and hasn’t had any problems, make them prove it with a detailed report.
If you don’t ask the right questions, you might buy a bad car. When customers know the facts about the used cars they’re looking at, the purchase becomes a much safer bet.
While you’ll want to thoroughly inspect any car before buying it, it’s especially important to do so with a used car. A good inspection informs you of any problems the car might have, some of which you might be fine with and others that could make you want to think twice about buying the car. Learn how to conduct a proper inspection on used cars.
Take a slow walk around the exterior of the car and inspect it for signs of exterior damage, possible cover-ups and misaligned panels. You’ll also want to open up the doors, hood and trunk to make sure everything’s in working order. While you’re at it, be sure to inspect the glass and bounce each corner of the car to check that the suspension is in good shape.
As you slip inside the car, be sure to check for suspicious odors. Anything that smells like mold might mean the car has sustained water damage in the past. All seats should be comfortable and intact, and you should be able to adjust them as well. When you get behind the wheel, check that the pedals work and are in good condition. Make sure all the instruments and the sound system are in good working order, also.
Under the Hood
If you aren’t mechanically savvy, it’s best that you have the car inspected by a professional mechanic. Dealerships usually have no problem letting you take the car off the lot to have it inspected. Note that while you’ll have to pay for an inspection, it can be worth it for the peace of mind it provides.
Inspecting a used car is a great way to learn more about its history and whether it’s the right car for you. Take your time with the inspection, and always go with your gut instincts.
Securing any type of loan is not easy, and securing an auto loan is no different. The process for securing the funds you need to purchase a vehicle can be time consuming, convoluted and downright frustrating. However, if you keep in mind the following advice before shopping for car loans, you can make the car buying process much less of a hassle.
Know Your Credit
A higher credit score means better interest rates, so if you have a good score don’t be afraid to brag about it. If the lender thinks that you’re unware of just how good your credit score is, they may try to undermine you by offering just average rates. Don’t let this happen, and make it clear from the get-go that you expect prime rates for a prime score.
If your credit score is not so great, don’t worry—you’ll still be able to get an auto loan. However, you may have to pay higher interest rates, so just take your time shopping around for the lowest rates your credit will buy you.
Set a Budget
Just because you have a great credit score does not mean that you should shop outside of your means. The dealership will probably try to convince you to take out more than you can afford because your credit can support it, but don’t do this. To set a realistic budget, add up all of your monthly expenses, including how much you plan to save each month, your yearly tax obligation and any other annual fees you have (property taxes, health club, etc.). Subtract the total from your annual salary and that is how much you can afford for a vehicle.
Show Up With a Down Payment
An ample down payment is the best way to reduce the amount you need to borrow and therefore, to make you more a more desirable borrower in lenders’ eyes. The less risk you pose the better, and a nice down payment is a sure sign of a safe debtor.
Car loans aren’t impossible to come by—just difficult. If you want to eliminate the hassle of car shopping, try the tips above.

We are here for you. Right now, our focus is to protect the health and safety of our people and you – our valued customers.
We know this situation will continue to evolve and we will do our very best to update you as things change. There is no doubt, we are in uncharted territory, but we will make it through this together.
You have just chosen your new car and negotiated the terms to pay for it. You may be content at first, but that five-year note may take the edge off your excitement after a while. You may begin to feel as if there is no end in sight, but there are some practical ways you can shave quite a few months off the life of your loan and pay less interest overall.
The simplest way to pay off car loans in a timely manner is to make payments on time and never skip a payment. If your payment is late, the lender might tack on a fee to your loan principal. Not only does this increase the amount you owe, you will also be paying interest on that fee. Your lender may occasionally offer you the opportunity to skip a payment as a reward. While this may be tempting, fight the urge to skip. Skipping a payment only adds time to the life of your loan.
Paying a little extra than the contract terms require each month is another good way to pay your loan off early. If you budgeted for $300 a month, but your finance plan only requires you to pay $250, go ahead and pay the higher amount that you planned every month. This not only takes months off the terms of your loan, it also lowers the amount you pay in interest.
Pay More Often
Some lenders charge penalties for making extra payments, but if your contract terms will allow for it, try to make an extra payment every once in a while. An easy way to do this is by making a half-payment every two weeks. Over the course of a year, instead of the 12 payments you would have made if you had paid once a month, you will make 13 full payments.
Your car loan may seem like it lasts forever. With a little extra effort, however, you can pay it off faster than you originally planned.
We know you love your car. You’ve spent a lot of time in it. It has gotten you from Point A to Point B, and you probably have some good memories in the driver’s seat. Used cars need TLC. In order to keep your car running smoothly and make sure that it lasts you as long as possible, it is important to keep on top of maintenance.
Understand Your Maintenance Schedule
If you read your owner’s manual you will see that it describes the maintenance schedule for your vehicle. We understand that in your busy day-to-day life, vehicle maintenance may not be at the top of your list – especially if nothing looks or sounds amiss. However, regular maintenance is what keeps things from going amiss! That’s why we recommend using reminders in the calendar app in your phone to keep track of what needs to be done when.
Keep Your Car Clean
This one is easy! Cleaning your car regularly isn’t just a good idea for aesthetic reasons; it can also keep your car running its best. Hose out the undercarriage and wheel wells to clear those areas of mud and dirt. If you live somewhere that it snows, don’t let this practice fall by the wayside in the cold weather. Road salt is bad for cars.

Regular maintenance is essential in order to keep used cars in solid working order for as long as possible. Use your smartphone to stay on top of the recommended maintenance schedule, keep your car clean, and bring your car to the dealership to help ensure that you and your car will have a long, happy life together.
